Celina Castellanos holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Notre Dame de Namur, From 2012 until present, she has practiced as a Marriage Family Therapist Intern and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist San Mateo County. She has been licensed through the California Board of Behavioral Science (BBS) as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) since 2018 providing assessment and psychotherapy to children, adults, and families in a community mental health setting. Her approach is relational and empathic, and integrates attachment theory, humanistic, trauma-informed, behavioral, systemic, and developmentally-focused theories. Her credentials can be verified on the BBS website (www.bbs.ca.gov).
